Pyrex Glass

what is the difference between pyrex glass pipes and just regular glass pipes?
i am looking for a pipe and i came across pipes that were made with pyrex glass. whats the difference between normal glass pipes and pyrex ones
Pyrex is a borosilicate glass [as is Kimax, another tradename], while regular glass is sodium calcium silicate, no boron.
Borosilicates are tougher, higher temp, and more expensive.
