DO YOU THINK I HAVE HIV?
okay im seventeen and im a virgin. last christmas i got my belly button pierced. the guy who did it didn’t open the needles right in front of me. but i was able to see him from where i was standing. I never got sick or anything but now 11 months later im having really bad headaches which i went to the doctor for. he said they where migraines im also having nausea and burning in my legs sometime and really bad acid reflux
my questions are
1. has any body been infected with hiv by body piercing ?
2. how great do you think my risk is ?
3. do my symptoms sound like hiv ?
4. would symptoms start to show this late?
Hi there. First I would like to begin from the basics. Good thing u include your age because you are in a developmental milestones wherein puberty occurs. Do you agree with me? Of course, you should. And that reason, you are having changes in to your hormones, to your physical development. Changing hormones may be the reason of your migraine and when people have migraine they normally feel nauseated and when get nauseated, our body will compensate.. meaning, we have an acid in our stomach called hydrochloric acid, and that acid reflux or go upward from our stomach seems like you want to vomit when getting nauseated.
you dont have an HIV because it is transmitted via direct contact such as intercourse.
ELISA test is the screening test for HIV and Western blot is the confirmatory.
but I strongly believe that you don’t have HIV because piercing is not sufficient to acquire such disease. =)
