What to expect when changing my belly button ring to a dangly one for the first time?

I’ve bought some really adorable dangle belly button rings and I’m really anxious to put them in. I still have the standard one I got it pierced with in. It’s only a few months old so I’m not changing it yet I’m waiting a while yet but I want to know what to expect.

Like, what will it feel like since its heavier? Will I have to get used to it? Will it be uncomfortable for a while? if it turns red and gets a lil sore will that go away or should I switch it back?
